Interested colleagues are invited to submit their abstracts to the XXXII PAN AMERICAN CONGRESS OF GASTROENTEROLOGY, please consider the following instructions:

- Abstracts can only be submitted through the web, to our electronic e-mail:

- It is important that before you send your abstract, carefully review the following instructions, since once abstracts are received they cannot be edited.
1. An abstract previously presented to a local or regional Congress, can be submitted, unless it has been published as an “in extent” work.
2. Abbreviations must be defined; more than three abbreviations cannot be included in the text.
3. Brand names of pharmaceutical or equipment products cannot be mentioned in the title, however, they can appear in the text with the ® sign.
4. The abstract cannot contain more that 3000 characters (including spaces, punctuation, the names and background of the authors and the title of the abstract).
5. The abstract must be submitted in Word format, Times New Roman font size 12 and structured as follows:
A) Topic (left superior angle)
B) Title: (must indicate clearly the nature of the investigation) in bold capital letters. Initial and last name of the authors, Institution, city and country of origin).
C) Introduction
D) Objetives
E) Methods
F) Results
G) Conclusions
6. A small table can be included (consider that this can importantly reduce the number of characters).
7. Do not include images or graphics.
8. Make sure that your abstract has no grammatical or scientific errors, since these cannot be amended afterwards.
9. If you decide to withdraw your abstract after being submitted, you can e-mail:

the limit date of JUNE 30, 2010.
10. The abstract must be generated in Word format and must be sent as “attachments” (do not include the abstract in the e-mail text)
11. Each author can send one or more abstracts.
GENERAL TERMS
- Abstracts will be reviewed by an Expert Committee who will determine their approval.
- Approved abstracts may be presented as Panel presentations (Poster) as well as orally. This will be informed to the authors by June 30,2010. The author representing the abstract must be registered and paid to the Congress before June 30,2010.
